Hello ladies, how have ya'll been? Yes, It's a new year and a new day. For most of us, our lives are on autopilot, right? We just let life do what it do. Well, sometimes we just have to take some control. We have to do whatever it is we need to do for the betterment of ourselves. This brings me to introducing you guys to who I like to refer to her as a grown and a sexy senior, because honey that's exactly who she is, chile!


Lauren Moore is one of the ladies in my fitness class. She is fabulously fit at 74 years young, and baybee this is not an exaggeration! A grandmother that has the physique of a 30-40 year-old! This has actually been told to Lauren by medical professionals. Lauren was kind enough to share some of her "secrets" on how she manages to maintain her fit and healthy body. First of all, let me say this, it doesn't come naturally. I've learned, and I'm sure Lauren will agree, that you really have "work" at it. Lauren has been working at it for most of her life, which is why she looks so fabulously fit. She does things and has been doing certain things health-wise to keep her body healthy and also has found alternative ways to remedy common minor health issues that we may experience. Matter of fact, I have actually benefited from one of her remedies when I developed heel spurs. Never ever had I had heel spurs. Lauren learned that I was experiencing these spurs, and made a concoction using magnesium flakes, creating an oil and bought it to me. I rubbed it on my heels for a couple of days, and lo and behold, within a couple of days or so, the heel spurs had completely disappeared, and I could walk comfortably once again. There are a lot of other helpful benefits of using magnesium as well, Lauren gave me a print out explaining what they were. I became so intrigued that we began talking more about what she does naturally in remedying certain health issues and also just to keep healthy and fit.


  • Lauren in addition to eating a healthy diet also exercises regularly. She says that she also eat a lot of organic fresh fruit and vegetables, and only eat lean meat and fish, such as turkey and salmon, etc. Reading labels is imperative she explained. Lauren also makes a variety of teas using plants such as the hibiscus plant, which can help lower your blood pressure, also the hibiscus plant as an array of other health benefits as well, such as it protects liver and kidney function, reduces body fat, help to fight cancer cells and the list goes on. Lauren says and we both agreed, that the internet has a wealth of information, and that all we have to do is a little research and "google" whatever minor problem we may be having first, as an alternative, rather than going to the doctor so quickly, note that I say "minor" problems. I wish I could get into specifics in all that Lauren does to remedy certain problems, but it would be too long of a read and pages long. Again, Lauren says just says to google it which is what she does and where she gets her information from. She wants us again to be aware that there are more natural ways to explore in solving our minor health issues and preventative measures as well,l in helping us keep our bodies healthy. Her recommendation certainly saved me a trip to my doctor's office. She does make a "disclaimer" however and we both chuckled. She says, and I quote "I am not a doctor all I am simply saying this is what has worked for me.

Lauren has certainly opened my eyes to certain things, and I hope she has done the same for you. Additionally, I also want to mention that Lauren is a deeply spiritual person. During my interview with her, she made a profound statement that really resonated with me. She says and I quote, "God designed it that we are suppose to eat from the earth, NATURALLY". Lauren explained that God created everything with seeds to be reproduced, NATURALLY. Everything we need to nourish our bodies has already been provided by God, and I'll say it yet one more time NATURALLY. When you think about it, how accurate is that! She said even we ourselves as human beings are products of a seed that was meant to be reproduced, NATURALLY. I thank you, LAUREN MOORE, our "grown and sexy senior," for enlightening us and giving us great insight on ways to keep our bodies fabulously fit and healthy!
